Hello, My name is Ikko Teshima.
僕は山口県山口市阿知須にある
「てしま旅館」の4代目として生まれました。
ですが、４代目という自覚はなく、子供の頃から遊んでばかり。
旅館の手伝いは大嫌いでよく逃げていました。
I am located in Achisu, Yamaguchi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Born as the fourth generation of Teshima Ryokan.
But I've only been playing with it since I was a kid.
I hated helping at the inn and often ran away.
ちなみに、高校生からは週末に厨房やホールを
とてもとても真剣に手伝うようになりました。かなり真剣です。
By the way, since high school, I have been working in the kitchen and hall.
I started helping very seriously. I'm pretty serious.
現在、てしま旅館では中庭にコンテナハウス「NEKONIWA」を設置し、保護猫活動を行っています。
僕は朝晩、NEKONIWAの2階の掃除を担当しており、さらに、自宅でも2匹の保護猫、
タラボーくんとミミキリンちゃんを迎えています。
Currently, Teshima Ryokan has set up a container house called ``NEKONIWA'' in its courtyard and is carrying out rescue cat activities.
I am in charge of cleaning the second floor of NEKONIWA in the morning and evening, and I also take care of two rescue cats at home.
We are welcoming Tarabo-kun and Mimi Kirin-chan.

タラボーは重度の腎臓病を抱え、ミミキリンちゃんは生まれつき足に障害があります。
２人ともとても元気に暮らしていましたが、2024年9月28日にタラボーは虹の橋を渡りました。
僕と家族になってから２年が過ぎた頃でした。本当にたくさん笑わせてくれて幸せな日々でした。
タラボーと暮らすまでは心のどこかで猫は猫、人間は人間と割り切っていた気がします。
表面上全く違った生き物ですがタラボーとは違う生き物として初めて心で繋がれた気がします。
強く、楽しそうに生きるミミキリン、最後まで力強く生きたタラボーからは今もこれからも僕に愛と勇気を与えてくれます。
Tarabo suffers from severe kidney disease, and Mimi Kirin was born with a disability in her legs.
Both lived very well, but Tarabo passed away on September 28, 2024.
It's been two years since we became a family. It was a really happy day with lots of laughs.
Until I lived with Tarabo, I feel like somewhere in my heart I thought cats were cats and humans were humans.
On the surface, they are completely different creatures, but in my heart, I feel like I was able to connect with Tarabo as a different creature for the first time.
Mimikirin, who lived a strong and happy life, and Tarabo, who lived strong until the end, continue to give me love and courage.
僕は小さい頃から絵を描くのが好きで、
模写よりも自分の思いつきを描くスタイルが好きです。
「IKKO」では、感情や思いついたものを僕なりに表現していきます。
I have loved drawing since I was little.
I like the style of drawing from my own ideas rather than copying.
In "IKKO", I express my feelings and thoughts in my own way.
